Well it certainly been awhile since my last update so here is the latest news.

Getz (Winsmore's Getz Everything) was shown in the months of March and April by Allison Foley (CPHA) and now has 5 points towards his Championship, he will for the fall shows once he coats up again.Getz now resides with Diane Clark on a co-ownwership.

Kat (Winsmore Katlin Reigns) and Serf (Glasgowhill's Making Waves) have 4 & 5 points respectively towards their championship in 2 weekends of shows both are maturing nicely. Caption (Winsmore's Captivation) is now residing at Glasgowhill Collies in Ontario; I kept 2 puppies from her litter Audi (Winsmore's Captive Audience) and Chant (winsmore's Enchanted Spell) both blue merles and CEA PRA non-carriers. Audi will be out for the fall shows.

Lincoln ( CH Winsmore So Continental) was bred to CH Glasgowhill's COCo Chanel and produced 7 puppies on May 5 2010. The break down is as follow:

2 Tri boys (both sold)
1 Sable boy (staying)
4 Sable Girls (1 Available)

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year

I have alot of updates to catch up on.I would first like to introduce

Can.Ch Winsmore's So Continental

Lincoln obtained his Championship at the Conception Bay Kennel Club in Newfoundland while I was home there to visit my family.Caption obtained 3 more points toward her championship under the handling of Marcus Drover and Bet obtained 1 point at the same show venue.

Chisel and Getz Where at the IDC shows in Charlottetown at the end of October.Chisel obtained 3 points towards his championship.Caption obtained another 3 points she is now standing at 9 .Bet obtained the title BPISS at the Maritime Group 7 Specialty that same weekend.Here she is pictured with judge Warren Hood.


My litters page has been updated Caption has been bred to Can.Ch.Glasgowhill's Be a Rockstar due to lack of interest in smooth resversations and Novel has been bred to Can.Ch. Glasgowhill's Cut to the Chase; these litters are due end of Jan. and early Feb. Lincoln produced 2 litters at Glasgowhill Collies in Ontario.Pictures of these litters can be seen on the puppies page www.glasgowhillcollies.com, some are still available from one of these litters.

I will be obtaining 4 new additions next month into my breeding program 3 are from Lincoln's get and the other is a co-ownership with Sandi from Glasgowhill a sable male named Serf (Glasgowhill's Making Waves) CEA non-carrier PRA clear.Pics will be posted when they arrive.Due to these new arrivals I have decided to place Lincoln and Chisel for sale.They are posted on my Available page.

July 29, 2009 - Lincoln and Caption are finally starting to coat up so hopefully they will be ready for the Fall Shows here in the Maritimes and both had OFA Hip Pre-Limb last month and past with a good rating.

I have a new addition since June 4 a sable girl named Bet (Glasgowhill Winsmore's Ante Up).Bet is a niece to Novel and certainly will be an asset to my breeding program.Thanks to Sandi Hamilton for this wonderful girl.

 

 

I have narrowed down my decision on Rem and Bree puppies therefore I have 2 males available Cliff and Stripe.Bree has now been spayed and is ready for her forever home, all can be seen on the Available page.

Chisel and Getz will be staying at Winsmore their pics can be seen on the boys page.Optigen will be done on these boys at a later date to see if they are non-carriers of CEA.

Scottie (aka Abbott) Lucy Lu and Sabrina (aka Louise) are all now in their new homes and all are doing fine.

I have a litter announcement Caption will be bred later this year to Am/Can Ch. Seawhisper The Mystic he is a littermate to my smooth Am/Can Ch. Seawhisper Rock Island Legend.I will have all coat colors except white in either rough or smooth coat some will be normal-eyed. Reservations are welcome.

 

 

May 26, 2009 - It has been awhile since my last update.I am glad to announce Bree had 7 beautiful puppies (5 boys 2 girls) on April 21.Pics can be seen on the litters page. Novel on the other hand went through what we term a false pregnancy, therefore a repeat breeding will be done.

Caption showed beautifully for Jill of Seawhisper at the CCA last month in West Springfield Mass.Here are some pics of her taken at the show.Thanks to Elena Geldkop Of Silhouette Collies for the wonderful pics.

 

Arjun (Winsmore's Primary Color ) will be going to live with Rachel and her family of Kensignton next week. Congrats on your new addition.

Here is Otto (Winsmore's This Otto Be Good) with his new family, the Boudreau's.

This is Gibson, he comes here regularly for grooming but lives with the Parker family in Milton.

Finally here is Zero settling in with his buddy Cupcake and with his owner Graham.

I have decided to retire Bree after this litter so she will be available around mid July after and spay and recovery. More info about her on the available page.

March 13, 2009 -  Lincoln did very well at the Halifax show he took WD BW and BP on both days obtaining another 4 pts, he now has a total of 7.Caption is heading to the CCA National Specialty in West Springfield MA next month, she will be handled by Jill Nickerson-Smith of Seawhisper Kennels.  I will keep you posted on her results.  I have confirmed pregnancy on Novel and she will be due around April 16 and Bree also has also been bred she will be due April 25 once I confirm pregnancy.  Exciting news for Frigid (Winsmore's Cool To The Touch) she will heading next month to Swanton Vermont to a wonderful home.

February 9, 2009 - Getting ready for the Halifax show I have just Lincoln entered for Caption is soon to come into season so I felt it would be easier on me and Lincoln.Gibson and Ester are now in new homes, Gibson has moved to North Milton Prince Edward Isaland with a wonderful couple and Ester is now living with a lovely family in River Philip Nova Scotia; both are doing well.I have finally
made my decision between Otto and Frigid, I have decided on Otto so Frigid is now available she has a sweet personality and easy
going; her picture is now posted on the available page also an updated picture of Arjun is there.

Novel and Bree are both in season so both will be bred so I will keep you posted if they are pregnant their due dates will be in
April.

January 22, 2009 - Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.I work in Retail so suffice to say it is quite busy.Looking forward to the show season which is resuming next month in Halifax. Lincoln and Caption will be attending.I have updated pics of Lincoln Caption Keely Otto and Frigid so feel free to have a look at their individual pages. I have added an Available Page to my website ; Arjun Gibson and Ester are for sale. I am now taking reservations of my upcoming litters which are now posted.

December 15, 2008 - Well it has been a little busy here lately with work and growing puppies.We said goodbye to Tiz who went to a new home in Ottawa, Ontario with a wonderful couple; Prism went to her home in Truro Nova Scotia and is fitting in nicely and Zero just arrived this weekend in Little Burnt Bay Newfoundland.Prima and her 2 daughters are now back at Glasgowhill as part of the lease agreement;Screech is also residing there.So I have 2 male Tri-headed whites available Gibson and Arjun which can be seen on the litters page.I am growing out 2 sable-headed whites left from this litter ,Frigid and Otto when I make my decision the other one will be available.Finally Lincoln may have a home in Kensignton,PEI on a co-ownership I will keep you posted.

November 9, 2008 - Lincoln achieved 3 pts towards his championship at the Island Dog Club by going WD/BW/BP on Friday ,Bp on Saturday and WD/BP on Sunday.Caption earned 1 pt on Friday by going WB.Ester made her debut on Saturday she did not recieve any points but did have fun.Keely was also shown but is not ready so we wait for her to mature a little more before she goes to the next show. Drapper has a new home he is living with a wonderful family on the island, he has settled in fine. There are 4 puppies available from Prima's litter just go to litter's page to view them.Also Sandi and I have decided to place Tiz in a forever home you can view him on his page. I have updated pictures of Novel on her page she is now 20 months old.She will be getting her OFA pre-limb and thyriod panel done next I will let you know of her results.

October 9, 2008 - Finally I get a chance to update my website due to computer problems and busy work schedule.We have good news regarding Prima she delivered 8 healthy puppies on Oct.3.The litter consits of 3 tri-headed and 1 sable-headed males; 2 tri-he

aded and 2 sable-headed
females.They all are all doing fine . Screech and Tiz have both 1 point each towards their championship in the couple of weekends they have been entered.Caption was entered in a show a couple of weekends but was have too much fun in the ring and not behaving herself, hopefully she will calm down for her next show.Lincoln and Ester will be in the ring in the month. I will have updated pics of everyone in the next week so keep posted.

July 21, 2008 - There has been a lot going on since my last update. We said goodbye to Trace who now resides with a family in Yarmouth (Nova Scotia) and Darcy (known as Eshne) with a couple in Bedford (Nova Scotia) both are adjusting to their new lives very well.  Drapper is the only one left from this litter to be sold; his updated picture and comments on his personality are posted on the litters page. Dillon has been retired and now lives with my twin sister and her family in Newfoundland. He is pictured here with my two nieces Heather and Jessica and nephew Kevin and their golden Rose.

We are still waiting for Prima to come into season, so we are looking at a fall litter instead of a summer one. Reservations are welcome if interested in this litter.

Ester Caption and Lincoln are my hopefuls from Dillon & Bree's litter. My husband and I went to a fun match the past week in Kensington with all the puppies, Lincoln out did the rest by winning winners dog ,best of winners and the breed and then on to a Group 1 under the handling of my husband who has never showed before (beginners luck I guess).All the pups showed well and had fun socializing with the people who also attended, which is the purpose of these events.

Finally I have a new addition Kildrummy Winsmore's Keely (Shetland Sheepdog).  This is my second breed of choice and would like to thank Kathy Archibald for this wonderful girl into my home.

June 5, 2008 - I have updated pictures of the puppies that are available for homes on the litters page as you can see they are growing up very nicely.Haven't been at any shows lately do to everyone being out of coat however they should be ready for the fall shows.I will be posting pics of my hopeful puppies, Ester and Caption in the near future.

May 12, 2008 - The puppies are getting bigger and busier everyday,not a dull moment. I have set up a candid puppy page so go have a look. Eshne, Trace and Drapper are available.We have 2 new additions here at Winsmore, Glasgowhill Winsmore Vocalist (Screech) and Glasgowhill Winsmore Egotistic (Tiz) both are optigen normal eyed carriers. Sandi (co-owner) and I have high hopes for these boys; looking forward to having them in the show ring this fall.Indivdual pages will be done in the near future.

April 16, 2008 - We have updated pictures of the puppies on our litter page so go have a look,there are a couple avaiable. Cache has been sold recently to a wonderful home on the island,she will be missed.I have not attended any shows as of yet,busy with the puppies and it is that time of year where the dogs are shedding their coats.

March 24, 2008 - We are pleased to announce our first born Saturday March 15. It consists of 6 females and 2 males.Both Bree and her pups are doing fine.

The breakdown is as follows:

Females

  • 1 Tri headed white
  • 1 Blue merle headed white
  • 2 Tris
  • 1 Blue merle W\F
  • 1 Blue merle

Males

  • 2 Tris both W\F

All that is left available is the 2 tri females and one of the tri males, the rest are spoken for.Go look at the litters page for a group picture of them ,individual pictures will not be posted until their eyes open.

February 21, 2008 - I am pleased to introduce Ch.Glasgowhill Winsmore's Novelty. Novel took Winners Bitch and puppy in breed both days at the Halifax Show two weekends ago obtaining the last 2 points to obtain her title.Dillon Ch.Glasgowhill Coloration took the breed on Sunday.Cache Winsmore's Hidden Agenda took reserve winner's bitch both days at the same show.A championship picture of Novel is posted on her page.It was confirmed Feb.19 Bree (Ch.Glasgowhill She's Adorable) will be having puppies next month, I will keep you posted on her progress.

January 29, 2008 - The show season is soon approaching so I will be listing results as they come available.Reese (Glasgowhill Keltic Afterhours)will not be whelping her litter here due to circumstances beyond Sandi's and my control there fore I will not be co-owning the litter with her.On another note however Bree has been bred to Dillon due date March 16,I will be confirming pregnancy on Feb19 I will give results then.

January 20, 2007 - Welcome to Winsmore Collies where we breed for excellence and soundness. Watch for weekly updates on show results;new additions and upcoming and planned litters for the future.
